FRiTZ

FRiTZ

FRiTZ is an intimate documentary portrait of Fritz Senn, the renowned Swiss literary scholar and one of the world’s foremost authorities on James Joyce.

Filmed in Zurich since 2024, the documentary follows Senn through the places and encounters that shape his everyday life—from the Zurich James Joyce Foundation and his private library to his home, the city streets and conversations with family and colleagues.

Combining observational footage, interviews, photographs and archival documents, FRiTZ explores a life devoted to literature while reflecting on ageing, intellectual independence, legacy and the tensions of our time. The film reveals the person behind the scholar: sharp, humorous and profoundly curious, still reading the world through the language of James Joyce.

BE-tween YOU and I

BE-tween YOU and I

A weekly letter from Polka Dots Productions

A weekly newsletter built around real questions sent by friends, readers and people from the wider Polka Dots community. Its symbol – an angel speaking with a crow – brings together two ways of seeing: hope and experience, tenderness and instinct, the possible and the real.

Each edition begins with a letter and introduces the person behind it. In four short paragraphs, readers discover who this person is, what they are experiencing and why their question may also belong to many others. The story is personal, but the feeling is shared: love, work, ageing, belonging, courage, disappointment, identity or change.

This could be me. I am not alone.
Perhaps there is another way of seeing it.

Agora Turicum

Agora Turicum

Agora Turicum is a Zurich-based podcast and interdisciplinary forum for conversations at the intersection of culture, society,
media and technology.

Bringing together artists, thinkers, entrepreneurs, researchers and public voices, the project creates space for thoughtful dialogue across disciplines, generations and cultural backgrounds. Each conversation explores how ideas emerge, how creative work responds to contemporary change and how artificial intelligence is reshaping the ways we think, communicate and create.

Inspired by the agora as a place of exchange—and by Turicum, the historical name of Zurich—Agora Turicum connects local perspectives with international experience. Produced by Polka Dots Productions, it combines journalistic curiosity with an open, intellectually engaged approach to the questions shaping our shared future.

ArtForm

ArtForm

ArtForm is a documentary film exploring the intersection of design, mobility, technology and environmental responsibility through the story of Tarform—an electric motorcycle conceived as both a machine and a sculptural object.

At the centre of the film is founder and designer Taras Kravtchouk, whose vision brings together traditional craftsmanship, advanced engineering, artificial intelligence and sustainable innovation.
His journey reveals the ambitions, contradictions and practical challenges involved in transforming a compelling idea into a
viable product.

Moving beyond the conventional narrative of technological progress, ArtForm asks what meaningful innovation truly requires—and whether beauty, performance and responsibility can coexist in the mobility of the future.
